Meet The Characters (part 1)

Hey everyone!

So to clear everything up I will present the most important characters, so you know who is who.

SPOILER ALERT: If you're not up the date on the show, don't read any further because there may be some spoilers in here and I don't want to ruin it for you guys.

Let's start with our leading character: 

Rick Grimes

played by: Andrew Lincoln

family members: - Lori Grimes (wife)

                          - Carl Grimes (son)

                          - Judith Grimes (daughter) (first appearance: season 3)

Rick was a police officer (sheriff) and had a loyal companion Shane Walsh.

One day she had to go on a intervention and Rick was shot by one of the criminals which caused that he ended up in a coma. 

Next character:

Lori Grimes

played by: Sarah Wayne Callies

family members: - Rick Grimes (husband)

                          - Carl Grimes (son)

                          - Judith Grimes (daughter) (first appearance: season 3)

Lori was Rick's "loyal" wife for the first 3 seasons of the show. She slept with Rick's partner Shane right before Rick found her and Carl back after he got out of the hospital. That same night she also slept with Rick (which is a little more obvious). That means that the father of Judith is still unknown (but in season 7 Rick said he knew it was Shane's). Lori died during childbirth.

Next character:

Carl Grimes

played by: Chandler Riggs

So picking a photo for him was like the hardest thing to do 'cause he changed a lot trough the years. Here's a comparison:

family members : - Rick Grimes (dad)

                              - Lori Grimes (mom)

                              - Judith Grimes (sister)

Carl is Rick's oldest son and now he would have to replace Rick if he should die. He changed a lot, but his biggest transformation was when his mom, Lori, died. Now, he's more independent and he became a real 'badass' trough the years.

He also takes a lot care of his baby sister Judith.

Next character:

Shane Walsh

played by: Jon Bernthal

family members: none

Shane was Rick's partner at work. He saved his live when Rick got shot and told everything to Lori. When the virus broke out he got Lori and Carl to a safe place together with other people. He got Lori to finally fall in love with him, until Rick showed up again...

So that's enough for now. Next time I'll talk about Carol Peletier, Glenn Rhee and Merle and Daryl Dixon.

How It All Began

Hello everybody!

So, this is the first real thing I'll be posting on this blog.

Every story has a beginning and an end. Fortunately The Walking Dead doesn't have an end yet, but we all saw the start maybe 7 years ago (unless you just keep rewatching the first episodes). I think it's time to go a little bit back in time to see what was the base of this whole story.

The whole story is based on sheriff Rick Grimes. It all starts off with him on a ride to an abandoned tank station. There he sees a little girl walking around. When she turns around, he sees that there is something going on.

As you can see, she's not a normal girl (anymore).

She couldn't talk and she basicly tried to attack Rick when he tried to come closer. He tried to get her back to reality but that didn't worked out very well. When he couldn't stop her and she was actually getting more scary, he shot her in the head with his Colt Python.

The story goes on with him and his partner, officer Shane Walsh. the two guys are best friends with eachother. They were talking about their lives and particularly about there girlfriends. Rick is a married man and he has a son, Carl Grimes. He and his wife had a fight that same morning. Shane had a problem with a girl always leaving the lights on and he kept complaining about that. After a while they got a message for a road chase. When they got there, they started shooting at the criminals. In this fight, Rick got shot. He told Shane to not let Lori (Rick's wife) know about the shot. Unfortunately, there was another criminal who nobody saw. That guy shot Rick and he got into a coma. 

After a couple of months, Rick woke up in an abandoned hospital. When he got out on the hall, he saw that the hospital was totally ruined. He didn't knew what was going on...

What will I do?

Hello everybody!

So, I think it's kind of obvious that this blog will be about AMC's The Walking Dead.
I started this blog because I love the show and more people should know what it's all about. 
What I will post is always going to be something about the show itself or the characters. In short: everything you might need or want to know to become a real fan!
